They Demolished Our Green Lung

10 years ago, when my family and I moved into a new house, the housing area was so peaceful. My house was surrounded with green bushes. I still can remember the sound of birds' singing in the morning from the nearby. From the east and north direction of my housing area, sometimes we found tortoise walking, lizard crawling, a few other primates and monkeys jumping out from the bushes. Squirrel jumping from one to another trees.

A few years later, we began to hear noise from heavy machines cutting down the trees and took away all the green sceneries from us. The contractors began developing housing projects. Many terrace houses and bungalow lots were developed. When the houses are occupied, the roads nearby become very busy with traffics. Recently, the bushes on the north were cut down. The developers began developing multi stories flat, near our neighborhood. The neighborhood are not comfortable with the dust exposed from the developing area. Furthermore, the noise created from the site was very irritating.
We will never see tortoise, lizards, monkeys in the future unless we go to the zoo. There is no more birds' singing every morning. We cannot even hear dogs' barking every night. Squirrel and earth rats come to our house looking for food.
During the dry season in June and July, the atmosphere is full with dust and haze. Every-life become so unhealthy with haze. My youngest brothers and sisters unable go out for jogging or cycling because of the unhealthy air.

Is he My Lecturer or My Dad?

It was a sad news that my caring lecturer, Madam Nur Azian will be no longer teaching my class before we met the last chapter which is Integration. I was totally happy and enjoy learning Maths with her before. I could not even imagine how am I going to comfort myself with a new situation, learning Maths with a new lecturer.

On 25th Jan, a new lecturer started to teach me name Sir Abdul Razak, the Deputy Dean in CFS who is so knowledgeable. Well, a story begins. It was 11am and he is in the class already. It shows that he is a punctual person. I admit it.

I felt worried because I came late to the class.  For the first time I came late in this semester! Such a bad attitude of me. I gave salam and say sorry to be late. Oh, there were many students didn't come yet. What ashamed was many brothers were coming late to the class but he acted really calm about it.

I was told that he just came back from doing Hajj. However, I love the way he teaches Maths. Alhamdulillah, I can cope what he taught. He is a good lecturer anyway =)

What am I trying to focus on this story is that he looks just like my Dad.  The way he speaks, the way he walks, the way he writes, the way he making jokes, the way he laughs,  the way he thinks, the way he introduces himself are just the same. His skin, and wearing glasses just like my Dad.

Suddenly when he was explaining one question from a workbook, tears came to my eyes. My heart was so gloomy. He reminds me of my Dad. I miss my Dad so much. I ring my Dad right after the class finished and telling about this. Then my Dad said just assume the lecturer is Dad then I can be more focus on studies, InsyaAllah. Hehe, Daddy was so funny =')

My new breath~

Hi world ;)

I'm very new here. Honestly, I'm not really good in English but I'll try my very-very best to do so insyaAllah :) Okay, let get the blog started. From now onwards, I wanna let all the difficulties that I've been trough before as my strength to be a good person, same goes to my post title stated above :)

As a student in an Islamic university, of course I've aiming a lot for success but I always failed to get the best. I believe that it is hard to get succeed unless we pool so many efforts on it. It's true that sometimes I feel really upset when I didn't get the best result in exams, but I never give up. God is always there.

Robert Browning says 'A minute's success pays the failure of years'

When I can't understand or even can't go on with something that I learned, I always remember one of my Lecturer of Maths I, Madam Husnamaria's advice- take everything difficult.
